Estimated return of investment is 16 to 22 pct for the Heinon Tukku.
An energy efficiency modernisation will shrink the energy bill of and reduce emissions from a wholesale business of Heinon Tukku in Helsinki. The refit will be implemented by LeaseGreen, Finland’s leading smart energy solutions provider for large properties.
The project will include the building automation and ventilation systems as well as a new heat recovery solution for the exhaust air. According to LeaseGreen’s estimates, these solutions will decrease the thermal energy use almost 400 MWh yearly. The electricity consumption and emissions decrease as well.
”We design and implement the optimal measures to the Heino’s property”, says Tomi Mäkipelto, CEO of LeaseGreen.
”Our goal is a modern technical system which is easy to control. It will take into account the indoor air conditions, work safety and special requirements of wholesale business.”
According to Mäkipelto, this energy efficiency project will produce accumulated savings from 0.6 million to 0.8 million euros during the lifecycle of investments. The estimated ROI for Heinon Tukku will be 16–22%, depending the energy price development.
LeaseGreen will implement the project as a turnkey project which includes a two years guarantee for the operations of new investments.
